I'm Hector, a senior at MIT studying EECS (6-2). Here's what I'm doing now.

I work at the intersection of AI and the brain. That is, I'm interested in how AI can be used to unlock new capabilities for the brain today (viz. BCIs), and how increased understanding of the brain can inform the learning systems of tomorrow.

I pursue eudaimonia through the quest of contributing a gigayear to humanity. I am only interested in problems instrumental to this end.
